Square-Off v2.0
Square-Off is a puzzle game based on the japanese "nonogram" puzzles (sometimes called Griddlers, or paint by numbers). Your object in the game is to uncover all the black squares in the grid. To help you solve the puzzle, the number of black squares in each row and column are displayed. The game can be difficult at first, but the techniques are easy to learn. There are three skill levels - each level the board gets bigger, and the game much more hard to solve. Square-Off is an excellent exercise for the brain. But watch out, it can be very addicting... Paint by numbers, also known as Japanese puzzles, nonograms, pic-a-pix, picross puzzles, pikurosu, hanjie, griddlers, or Edel, are logic puzzles in which cells in a grid have to be colored (or left blank) according to numbers given at the side of the grid to reveal a hidden picture. The numbers measure how many unbroken lines of filled-in squares there are in any given row or column. For example, a clue of "4 8 3" would mean there are sets of four, eight, and three filled squares, in that order, with at least one blank square between successive groups.
